Has anyone replaced the thru hull raw water strainer for the port engine on a 1996 sundancer with 454 v drives? My port side on is dented in and I would like to replace it before launch. There are 4 phillips screws on the strainer, but I think there is a clamping nut on the inside of the hull that has to come off too. Looks like there my be a lot of sealant holding it in too.
