Our '96 Dancer with 7.4 Liter 454's and Weber carb's has a 200-300 rpm upward surge while running around 3100/3200 rpm (cruise power) sometimes it will straighten out, but mostly surge's up, then back down. throttles show couple inch split, until power settles down, then I am able to pull stbd...

Has anyone here used the Presta Gel coat compounding product? Several folks in our parts have reccomended it and I am going to give the 'Dancer a make over this spring before we launch.

1996 330 Sundancer with 7.4l 300 hp. mercruisers (V drives)with Weber carb's. Getting alot of black smoke on initial start up after several days of not running.(on stbd. engine) Clears up after several minutes. I suspect issue with the electric choke / ckt. Any ideas?:huh:
