Thanks to everyone for all the responses. It sounds like removing the bow rail bolts is harder than repairing the rail. The bend portions are on the upper side so no welding is needed except from upright to upright since the bend on both are in the middle between the uprights....

My 460 has dual pumps in line, I found if i drained water from a point lower than the pumps, air would come out and solve the problem for a bit. After closer examination I found a slight leak on the intake side causing the air bubbles thus the pressure drop...Hope this helps

I found that dumping a 1/2 cup or so of simple green in the drains before I leave the boat for the weekend really keeps the sump cleaner and disolves some of the "goop" that accumulates.
