Soon we will be putting the boat away for the winter. For the last ten years I have put the boat inside and let my dealer take care of everything. This year I want to leave it closer to home and have it shrinkwrapped. The question the boatyard I am going to is: they want to power wash the...
After reading about all of you that have removed the carpeting in your boats, I decided it was time to do something, so with the help of a floor specialist, that never did a boat before, but was willing to try a boat, here are the results...

Imagine my surprise, while I am reading a thread on CSR, the phone rings, and it is a marketing firm, representing Searay boats. "what kind of boat do I own, did I know that Searay dealers have lots of incentives for futur buyers of new or used boats in inventory". Had a pleasant conversation...
We put the boat in the water today, while on the trailer we noticed that the starboard side BIII drive moves about 3inches from left to right. The portside one barely moves 1/2 inch. Anything to worry about....

This summer I bought a used Boston whaler, 9ft. We would use it to travel around the marina and adjoining canal. I bought a 5hp Honda, and it ran real well. Today I brought the small boat into my garage for the winter, and to repair some minor damage and re-do the wooden seats. We installed it...

On one thread there was mention of fractional ownership. Found this in the paper. I just hope that the designers of boats will not copy this shape...look up the price. Something to look at on a snowy day.

Just got back from my dealer, left my boat there for the winter. The owner mentioned he had been in a meeting in Tennessee and that all Sea Ray executives looked very serious. No way to confirm this, but what he heard was that : "all Bayliner production was stopped, and that Meridian production...
A while ago someone asked for pictures of a cockpit fridge for the 310 Sundancer. Here are a few that I took today, and some improvements we made to the head...

Anybody ever have this problem. The admiral was bringing up the anchor, rope and chain. Near the chain part, I thought she was coming up quite fast. Heard the chain coming up real fast, then wham.... it does not fit in the cradle properly. It (she) bent the metal half ring that is welded to the...
I was invited to sit with a few people at our last marina supper. Since I had just met some of them, all searay owners, I decided to do something special. With the help of my trusty computer, scanner, printer...voila...searay wine. A magnum of fine Italian wine. We had a great laugh and a great...
Why does the starboard tach show a differrent r.p.m then the port side one. Mentioned it to our dealer and he said not to worry to keep the engines balanced and all would be well. It just bugs me to see it. Any ideas what is going on.
