The 440EB is power hungry.. Two a/c units, two ice makers, hot water heater, microwave, washer/dryer, convection oven, inductive stove top and then lights and other little stuff.
I know if I pay attention, I can managed to always stay under 50Amps, it just requires some thought... No cooking...
Since owning my 440EB (5+ years now) I've always been at a marina or dock that had both a 120VAC 50A and 120VAC 30A shore power connections and never had to deal with my current situation.
Not sure if it is just the 440EB, but I have a 120VAC 50A that powers the main salon a/c, battery charger...
When I purchased my boat (Feb 2015), the broker had put four new batteries into the boat.
They are NAPA Marine Group 27M, 1050CA / 840CCA. I am now in need to replace them all and have a few questions. They are about $165 per battery.
First, I've been told that these are "starting"...
Perhaps a simple question, but looking for some advice.
Have owned my 440EB with Cat3116's for the last year and a half. I am planning a month and a half cruise in Cuba and then the Bahamas and on my massive to-do list, I am addressing an engine spare parts.
On my previous boat, I easily...

The fuel selector valves that Sea Ray has used on most of their boat are made by ANDERSON BRASS COMPANY out of Charlotte, NC. http://www.andersonbrass.com/
They are still in business and tremendously helpful. The Part number on the larger...
We've had our 440 Express Bridge for about a year now. We have only put about 25 hours on the engines in that time and are very diligent in fueling after each outing.
We did a 8 hour run down to the Florida Key and upon arrival noticed the boat listing. The port fuel tank was almost...
Update: Did some research for this and decided to rebuild them myself. Online company wanted just over $200 for the 3" cap with the three sensors attached.
Amazon sold me the sensors for $6.97 each, did all six. The various levels are nothing more than 1/8" PEX pipe. The sensor...

Been searching the forums trying to find some information on removing and repairing the sliding glass door I have on the aft deck of my 1995 440 Express Bridge.

In the process of working on my vaccuflush system and holding tanks...
I have two holding tanks, port and starboard in front of each engine. Each tank has a round access plate with three sensors installed in each.
My level gauge (on my panel) stopped working so decided to pull one of the...
Finally got this project wrapped up....
If anyone is interested, the door hardware the 44EB is made by a company called Adams Rite. The easiest source for parts I found was Architectural Builders Supply (www.abssupplynet)
Sea Ray used model 4431 on the 4EB.
You can buy the entire unit...
Having owned our 44 Express Bridge for over a month now, one of our biggest complaints is that of a good nights sleep. The master mattress is seems to be nothing more than 4" of foam with a covering on it.
Is there anyone who has upgraded their mattress ? Are there ones available in the...
Hello -
Brand new SeaRay owner, took delivery of her on Friday. A 1995 44' Express Bridge.
My first problem is that the boat was a bank repo. In the process, the firm had to drill out the door lock.
I've searched all over for a replacement lock but am coming up blank.
As I had initially...
