Having owned our 44 Express Bridge for over a month now, one of our biggest complaints is that of a good nights sleep. The master mattress is seems to be nothing more than 4" of foam with a covering on it.

Is there anyone who has upgraded their mattress ? Are there ones available in the commercial markets?

Living in Fort Lauderdale, I called a few custom marine mattress companies and got $2,000 - $3,000 and 6-8Weeks for a custom mattress,

Before I pull the trigger on that, wanted to see what others have done.

Thanks..

I put a 3 inch memory foam topper on mine. We love it. Cut it to fit.

I had one made last fall from Custom Comfort mattresses and marine bedding. It is perfect. They had the template for my boat, made the lower part of the mattress fit within the current bed framing area and then it extends out both in width and length. It's a real bed. they even make the mattress cover and sheets to custom fit. Couldn't be happier. It was around $2K and I had it on my boat in less than three weeks shipped from Florida directly to the marina.

Call a place named "The Original Mattress Factory". They have many locations and should be able to hook you up at a reasonable price.

Great quality too.

i have no affiliation other than being a satisfied customer.
