I love the big sundecks but don't know anyone who has one. I even asked awhile ago on this forum if anyone liked their 290/300 sundeck (not the newest style) and I got no responses.
Good luck with the boat and let me know how you like it.

Only thing that doesn't work this year that did last year is my water pump for my faucets. It runs but barely pumps any water. I've cleaned the filter and all screens and still just barely pumps. It won't build pressure either. I gotta decided to rebuild the pump or just buy a new one
I'm thinking of going if i can convince the wife.
I used to go every year with my parents. We would anchor off one of the near by islands. Then we moved to NH and haven't been since. Now that I've got my own boat I'd like to go down for the weekend. I just need to find a public boat ramp some...
All I had to do was move the mounting location of the gas strut. The side mounted to the floor I moved 4 and a half inches towards the hinge and the side on the to the hatch I also moved 4 and a half inches towards the hinge. That keeps it right around straight up and off of the chair. It...
That's definitely something to try. Run just 1 engine and see what you get for speeds and different rpms. Then try the same with the other engine. That could tell you if you had a lack of power in one engine. I've never had a twin engine boat but it's a good thought.
If one engine has less...
Good job Alex. my trailer is a 4 winns trailer and it's rated for 8k pounds so it tows great also.
Sorry I couldn't get you any measurements. I can just about see my trailer through the snow now.
I'm not sure on the length but bunk spacing should be the same as the stringers inside the boat. 40 inches sounds about right but don't hold me to that.
If your trailer bunks are directly below your stringers you'll get the best support and have the least chance of doing any damage to your...
Got the gun and some shrink last year and did my 2 smaller boats no problem. This year I did my 240 sundeck and it came out great as well. I could definitely see it being tough to do on a boat with anything over an 8ft 6 inch beam.
Same problem. Replaced the engine last season and I should have put a new oil pan on but didn't. On my 240 sundeck the engine definitely has to come out.
We'll be there this year. We went last year and loved it. Renting a house about 2 miles down the road. We'll have the baby with us this year so hopefully she'll be good all day.
The weather was showing rain / showers for Friday and Saturday. Now it's just showing low 70 ' s and cloudy for the...
When I got my trailer my boat hung about a foot off the back. I moved the winch stand forward about 10 inches and I moved the bunks back about 4 inches. Which means I have about 2 inches of bunk sticking out of the back of the boat. Now I have too much tongue weight so I'm gonna move the stand 2...
I wonder if they're talking more in terms of quality rather than just about size. From everything I've read about the l class models they seem to be very high quality like what you would find in the larger yachts.
Boattest also said it was 1 of 3 models they were coming out with. They've got...
I'm looking into upgrading my cockpit drains on my 240 sundeck from the 3/4 inch or so up to 2 inch. Currently they are just straight through drains ( no scupper). I'm wondering if since I'm upgrading to bigger drains should I use scuppers?
Does anyone have any experience with drains? What are...
Thanks Henry. I've definitely done alot of research and tried to be as prepared as possible. I know I want more safety gear if we do this more often. I have all the paper charts for where we went. I have 2 gps installed in the boat 1 is running the charts and other is showing compass heading...
