Looking for a source for the wiper motor assembly on my boat. I posted in another thread last week without a response, so I thought I would try here.
Also need advice on removing the wiper arm from the threaded post it is attached to.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Any advice on where to purchase a windshield wiper motor assembly? It appears that over the years, water has been laying at the bottom of the plastic cover, partially submerging the motor. Time for a new one on the starboard side.
I can see that the threaded post attached to the motor should...
Thanks for the quick response. I think I'll just flip a coin to decide.
If all goes as planned, I SHOULD be able to post pics. of the install by the end of March. The company doing the work came recommended by another CSR member, so nothing can possibly go wrong, right? They assured me I...
Pietro,
I'm having my cockpit upholstery replaced this winter, after seeing how nice yours turned out.
In your pictures, I noticed the "Sea Ray" logo on the rear bench seat backrest is offset to the port side a bit. I assume this is the center of the TOTAL width of the backrest? Are you...
After seeing Pietros finished product on his 390, I think it's time to upgrade the entire cockpit upholstery. Anyone have successful dealings with an Annapolis Maryland area shop they can recommend?
Congratulations on a job VERY well done! Hopefully you'll have many more years of enjoyment on her.
It's been fun watching the whole process. Thanks for taking the time to share. Have someone take a picture of you on your first voyage, I want to see the smile!
How much time did this take per side? My starboard side started leaking slowly last season, but port seems to be fine. Debating whether to just go ahead and get it over with on both sides, depending on time needed.
I have blown a breaker by getting a little greedy with how much I run at once. The 30A splitter works great when you're careful not to overload it. Seems that quite a few places only have one 30A plug for transient slips, so prioritizing power consumption is a must with the splitter.
Daddy's Dream,
Can you show pictures of the prong layout as if you were looking into the plug? I would be seriously interested if I can verify the pattern of each socket.
Missnmountains,
I MAY have what you want, but not sure. I bought one 2 seasons ago on e-bay thinking it would fit the...
Congratulations on the new boat.
Better be prepared for "the magnet effect" of that big cockpit. You'll make lots of new friends during raft ups. They'll all be hanging out on your boat before you can say "where's all my beer?"
Sincerely though, enjoy!
Until the last 5 days, I never had a problem. Same guy has done the shrink install the same way for 4 seasons and I've never had issues until this heavy snow. Of course the past 3 winters have been mild, so I guess his method for installing has never been truly put to the test until now. It...
Another option is Higgins Boat Yard, at the foot of Carpenter Street. Less expensive than others and close to everything. Nice people and adequate bathhouses, but no frills.
You can anchor just OUTSIDE of Spa Creek for free. Water Taxi will still pick you up and take you back. Not as nice or convenient as getting a slip at the new city docks, but a good option if they're full.
You will see many boats anchored there on a holiday weekend, but you should find room...
Just had my lift guy here 2 weeks ago for some service. Before he left he showed me some slight pitting of the I-Beams. He strongly recommended raising the lift, including I-Beams, above normal high tide level to prevent damage from electrolysis.
Had the lift 4 years now and only raised it...
