Spotlight on my 340 SD ..motor is not operating. Instructions tell me to check fuses; which appear to be fine. Light operates (spot and flood) but does not move. As I do not use this unit often, am I missing somthing? Has worked fine in the past. HELP!

I have a Raymarine RL70CPlus gps/radar unit, 2001 340SD. It is slow to pick up satellite fix, sometimes as much as 15 minutes. Anyone know cause / fix for this problem? On rare occasion it has lost fix, but within 2 or 3 minutes is back on line. Appreciate any any info regarding cause and/or fix.
