There is a cable that attaches to the battery threaded positive post with a wing nut. Make sure that it is connected. The first time I disconnected my battery, this cable fell behind the battery and I did not see it and forgot about it. It is the main power to your stereo.

Be prepared to have discoloration on your stainless props and braided lines. I took my boat to Fl and we used it every day for a week. After each day we stored it on a lift. It still tarnished my SS prop and braided lines going into the drive. Not a big deal but it happens quickly. Good Luck.

It is an Alpha one drive and it happened after I had been cruising. We had not pulled any tubes this year. After I filled it back up then we pulled tubes for several hours. The gear lube stayed full.

No oil slick and none in bilge. Also the drive and and all around the prop are clean no oil residue at all.
