dtfeld, I am replacing my raymarine vhf 220. How did you remove it from the dash? Mine is located under the MFD. I don't see any screws behind the fiberglass panel. It almost looks like it is mounted with some sort of adhesive. Jeff

I put in an 11 gallon Kuuma that had an aluminum tank and exterior. Sorry I don't have any pictures, was to frustrated not not being able to get the old one our without having to remove the exhaust elbow to take pictures. :) The Kuuma is 16Hx16Wx22D. Here is the link...

Dtfeld, I replaced mine last fall. My original hw tank was 8 gallons and measured 15x15x15. Yes I had to remove the cast exhaust elbow. I was lucky and saved the gasket that attaches to the turbo. I went with an 11 gallon hw tank for a replacement, I had the extra room so I figured why not.

+2 on the Happy Camper. I have been using it for the last 3 years and it works great.

Frank is this evertime you start the engines or just the first time after you install the new altenators? I have a 2001 and both altenators take a few minutes before the voltmeters register that they are charging the batteries. I have not tried bumping up the rpm'sover 1k to see if that works.
