The handle on the cabin door of my 225 WE is loose, the bottom part of the handle is missing the bolt that keeps the handle attached to the door. Any suggestions, do I need to take the entire back off the door to repair?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

We take a 15 inch lcd tv (polaroid hd) on our 225 WE, with a small hd antenna that we picked up at w.lm.rt. I use our small jump start generator to power the tv and antenna. We can get the local channels hd, it looks great and can go for about four-five hours. I want to mount the tv to the...
Excellent, I do have the vent tube as well, it was hooked up, so I will also hook up the bigger line. The fitting for the hose is busted, so I will have to replace that and we will be set. Thanks for the good advice. Have a great 4th of July weekend.

I am hoping I can get some usual good advice from the group. Here is the situation;
We have a 2001 225 Weekender, and really like the boat. My question is that I have a Sanipottie toilet that is not hooked up to the pump out. The line that goes into the back of the toilet is not connected, the...
I have a 2001 225 WE that we purchased last year here in Georgia. I was looking at 215's, but as others have mentioned, the swim platform, and the "feel" of the boat are a big deal for us. We love the 225, it feels like a big boat, the ride is great on our lake, (Lanier, very choppy) and a...
On the local news last night the corps spokesman said that they are going to look into it and they would need four to six weeks to study the situation. In four to six weeks the lake will probably be down another 20 feet. In the meantime, they continue to open the dam up each day and dump...
Thanks for the rental idea. I was thinking Armada Vans too. It might be a better idea to rent rather than go out and try to buy something. We are going to have to go bigger next year anyway, another vehicle. Thanks again for the advice.
I want to take my 225 Weekender down to Tampa in the next few weeks, sister in law's place, but I am not sure I trust my current vehicle to pull the boat for any distance. When I have pulled the boat, I have used my 99 Ford Explorer Limited, 2 wheel drive V-8 with towing package. Trail Manor...
I have been reading the forum for several months now and realized, I don't think I introduced myself. I am a new (July 2007) Sea Ray owner, a 225 WE. I always wanted a Sea Ray,.but I couldn't get one in my price range. So we started several years ago with an 18 foot Sea Doo to learn how to...
I heard from a neighbor today that the governor is going to file suit on Wednesday to stop the Corp of Engineers from taking any more water out of the lake. I have not taken the boat out at all in the last three weeks, several of my neighbors are saying that the "dishwasher" area over by...
For the Georgia CSR members.....Are you going out on Lake Lanier at all? I put in at Tidwell in Forsyth County by Baldridge Marina. The Corps of Engineers has blocked two of the three ramps. I know the Lake is down so much, wanted to know if anyone is going out. We tried to get out last...
For you folks not in Georgia, right now the weather here is beautiful, it is going to get cold later in the year, first of 2008, here is my question. A MM employee was telling me that I had to winterize, since I wasn't going to leave it in the water, while another person (from another...
I tow my 225 Weekender, with a 1999 Ford Explorer V8 with tow package. I know I am pushing the limits, but I am only pulling it a couple miles to launch. The SUV works for me, plus it's paid for....now if I could just get the boat paid off.......would love a 290SS....heh, heh!
When I purchased my 225 WE, the fact that the boat had the camper enclosure, sealed the deal. We are looking forward to November, December, January here on Lake Lanier, nice quiet boating....ha! Good luck with your "upgrade", I am sure you will love the enclosure
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback, I am going to my dealer and see if I can get the "real" beverage holders. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!

I was just on the Overton's site, stainless steel beverage holders for 14.99. Has anyone else seen these, would they work, the 3 1/2 inch size? I can't get them from my dealer.
Thanks,

I recently joined Club Sea Ray, I love this site! Everyone here is very helpful,I have learned a lot in the last couple of weeks. I am still getting used to my 225 Weekender. We purchased the boat used from a brokerage. Whenever we took delivery of the boat, the brokerage rep told me there...
