Thanks John I was worried I came off harsh, but that's how I would do it. It takes me about an hour to take a drive off,get all the special mercruiser tools you need out of the tool room, inspect it, and reinstall it. If I had to record it on video and explain what I'm doing it would take 3 hours

Your right I meant engine alignment. I had an alpha on a smaller sea ray sport that had a pinched o ring on the high pressure side allowing water to pass by it and slowly drip water through the shift cable on the engine. This was a brand new boat also
