Thanks Guys.. I can lift and lower the outdrive with the up and down.. have tried the UP button while out of the water.. I will this week though.. No biggie, jsut new to this boat and I dont want to be doing or not doing something that I shoudlnt be... You guys here are great Thanks Terry

thanks for the replies... Dont get me wrong it has lots of speed now.. I was jsut concerned becauase I thought I was supposed to be raising the prop like I did the bass boat.. SO I guess Im good leaving it down like I have been.. I jsut didnt want to do anything wrong. Now jsut gotta figure out...

no.. and I actually have to replace the speedometer.. the cable is broke in the back and I think a pice is missing.. so I am jsut going by my ear... hope to have it all running good by the end of summer.. Thanks Terry

Sorry. Im trimming the outdrive up and down... when its all the way down it seems fine......Like I said in my bass boat with the outboard. It went faster when I trimmed it up.. this one seems to work the opposite... Thanks Terry

I tried to lift the trim like I did in my other boat but it seemed to sound like the motor was out of the water or something ..jsut didnt sound right. Ill try it again this Sunday when I go out. I gotta figure out what that UP button was for.. now thats bugging me.. Terry

update Hey guys. got the boat running good.. Took it out last SUnday and Had my girlfriend drive it and I ended up needing to adjust the timing more.. and after it warmed up it ran great... Would still love to get manual for the boat though.. Some things on there I dont understand., Like for...

talked to a gu down the street that works on boats and told me to change the plugs, point, ect.. and set the timing... did that and seems to run good and no valvle tapping..."out of the water" so far.. but going to try and get it out on the water Sunday and see how it goes Terry

actually it doesnt shake.. starts and drives i htink like it should and doesnt give that bog down.. like trying to give out.. jsut when i try to go full throttle it jsut doesnt get faster and the valves are chattering like crazy.. not the chattering goes away if i pull back on the throttle and...
