I had a 1996 t-top coupe, loved that car. Wasn't a fan of the howling whistling noise with the tops off, but it was a fun carMy road toys: 82 Collector Edition, 91 Coupe, and a 99 Convertible.

I didn't used to be a contemporary Vette guy but the C8 has changed my mind.
I've driven a friend's C7 Z06 at COTA at 7/10th. Fantastic car. Just doesn't speak to me like the mid-engine C8.Go drive the C7 as well. Worlds better than any previous vette.
It did get the looks back in the day. I sat in it a short time ago and rediscovered why I sold it. Probably one of the most uncomfortable cars to sit in and get into and out of. It’s range was about 200 miles, and that was about the limit of my ability to tolerate the cramped seating. My head touched the ceiling with the t-top on.Very cool car. I always thought the C3 was good looking. Growing up in South Africa it was one of the cars we oogled over.
I'd imagine things would go sideways pretty quick in that one.I never quite got used to driving this oneView attachment 132605
