For the last 2 years at haul out the starboard prop nuts loosened back to the cotter pin. Can't believe that I can get the nuts much tighter, is it possible that I need a new key? Has anyone else run into this problem. Starboard side only, no problem with the port side.

We love our 3116's they require minimal maintenance and are a work horse. We cruise at 2,300 RPM, 26 MPH, and our average fuel consumption is 21 to 22 gallon per hour.

My tanks are virgin, have never used any additives. Have seen alot of commercials for Startron, does any one have any experience with it. Should I be using an additive like Diesel Kleen or Startron, or should I stay virgin.

Last year I had my entire bimini and glass replaced by Ethel's Canvas. Donna Sampier did a great job and was quit a bit less than Dockside and Millers.
We winter store inside heated includes haul out and wash down and summer slip includes, water, electric, and cable TV. All at the same facility, cost is close to $6,500.00 for the year.
Just had to Chime in ! I have an acquaintance at our harbour that purchased a 380 gasser last March and by July was looking to move it. The handling, cruise speed, and fuel burn drove him nuts. I guess he should frequent Club SeaRay.
I use a liguid wax on the non skid, I apply the wax in small area's and wipe it off before it dries. If you have any area's that the wax dries for any reason, simply add more wax (wax is it's own solvent).
It is not a fun job, and depending on what kind of non skid you have some are harder to...
