I have decided to sell my 2007 Sea Ray 38 Sundancer. This immaculate one owner, 128 hour, freshwater sport yacht is in bristol condition - like new. I custom ordered this boat at Sea Ray Yacht Expo and it includes high gloss dark cherry interior not offered in 2007. The boat has been...
Rob, I purchased my 38DA new in 2007. It came with two gas struts on each of the transom locker doors. I had a friend who purchased a 2006 38DA new and the locker doors did not close correctly from the factory. The dealer had to correct the fitment of both doors.
I just went through this on my 38 Dancer. The speakers are still fine, but two of the flush mounting cups for the tweeters started to crack.
The factory installed Polk Momo component speakers have a 6.75 inch woofer and a 1 inch tweeter with a tweeter cutout of 2.1 inches. The JL's and new...
The CMD-4MR is the direct replacement for your CMD-3. However, You will want to order the conversion plate. It will cover up the the wear and openings where the larger CMD-3 unit was previously installed.

Looking for 2003-2008 factory upgrade Polk Momo component speakers. I ordered my 07 with these upgraded cockpit speakers and unfortunately two of the tweeter mounting cups have started to crack. Called Polk to see if they might still be available, but no luck. I only need the flush tweeter...
The new top looks fantastic!
I'm sure the boat feels much bigger now with the height of that bimini. Using White should certainly help with the heating effect. What material did you use?
When I ordered my 38DA in 2007, the MerCruiser rep suggested that I stay with the standard 8.1’s over the HO’s. He said that standard 8.1’s had a better torque curve than the HO’s and pointed out the only difference would be that the HO’s would consume more fuel while delivering only 2 to 3 MPH...
My last boat was a 340, I installed the TV over the wet bar using a mount that Sea Ray uses in the Sport Yachts. I choose a 12V TV so that it could be watched without having to run the generator.
I still have the TV with the pole portion of the mount if you are interested?
