I have a 260 DA with a 350 MPI B3 configuration 20p props. I am going to try 4X3 22.5 p props to improve overall performance. Has anyone tried this?

My gypsy is stamped 1/4 7 HT but the G4 chain I'm using looks like it does not fit properly and skips. Windless is Lofrin Marlin 500

Imtra does NOT recommend chain with NACM specs.

Have you seen a difference in cruising RPM. Do you stay on plane at a lower RPM. I'm thinking of going with a 4x3 set but not sure if it's worth the money.

Did you sell them ? also did you notice significant improvement whn you installed them?

i'm trying to improve over all performance not looking for more top end just more efficiency. Would like to stay on plan at say 3500 rpm instaed of 4000

How hot does the water from the exhaust feel? do you have sufficient water flowing from exhaust?

The reason being with the new configurations of 3 and 4 blade combinations . Volvo uses a large 3 blade and smaller 4 blade .I don't know if this configuration would work with merc although if it does with Volvo way not.

Do you think if I went to 4X3 24 in it would be too much prop?

Got the serial number on the drive unit. Ratio is 1:50. Thinking i may need a little more cup or a big block LOL
