I have a 260 DA 350MPI and I'm considering changing my props to a new set of 4x3 's. Has anyone with a similar boat tried this and is it worth the money to make the change? :smt100:smt017

I had A 270 dancer with the bravo 3 drive. While I do not have experience with the 4x3 I did install the 4x4 props from a place in cali. Can't think of the name of the top of my head. But it was the best 1100$ I ever spent. Much quicker plane time, stayed hooked up on turns, much better reverse manuverability, and better fuel economy (not much but still better) and slight higher speeds. Again not much but a little. Def worth the money

Did the same to a 27' cruiser I had with a 350 mag. Went with the 4x4 also. I went up in pitch as well to lower my midrange cruise rpm. They worked well.

What at is your current prop pitch and max rpm at WOT?

Yes, Hill marine is who I purchased from.

WOT of 5100 RM is the sweet spot, so you appear propped correctly.
The 4x4 or 4x3 prop would likely help you plain faster and hold plain at lower rpm.
