So that pump under the stairs does not turn on when I turn on the bilge pump at the helm. I flipped over the float switch down there and the pump in their does pump water. So for some reason the float switch is not turning on the pump but its clean and does work when I flip it over manually...
So, I had earlier in the summer replaced my sump box that received and pumped out the drain water from the shower/ac condensate etc, located underneath the stairs going down to the cabin. Now I am getting water in the recessed area around the box where it sits underneath the step going...
Awesome! That is the best news I could have hoped for, thank you sir. I was looking at the shakespeare centennial 5101 8' atennae, comes with a p259 connector which I assume is the name for that screw on fitting...
I clipped my antennae on a railroad bridge (picture). Radio still works fine. Couple questions, is it possible to replace just the white sheath? I assume no, second question trying to figure out what to buy, I think this is a 6' antennae any suggestions on what to buy appreciated (I am...
Thanks, that was something I was going to add to my last post, is it a fools errand to spend a bunch of time with the fittings only to have the pump in the box go out in the next few months. You have reassured me that full replacement makes the most sense, thanks.
identified the problem, the sump is under an access panel on the bottom step going into the cabin. The positive fitting from the rule brand sump pump sheared off inside the discharge line for the shower and a/c condensate both of which fell off. Can't thank the poster here enough as this was...
Anyone know how to clean/access/service these bilge/sump pumps. I just have the wet carpet in the lowest part of the cabin after an overnight with the a/c running/ showering etc. trying to figure out why my carpet there below and in between the bathroom door and the fridge on the other side is...
Ok, so you think maybe a scenario where I had water draining in the sink, while also draining water in the bathroom and ultimately the pump couldn't pump it out of the boat fast enough?
I had my boat out for a first couple nights out on a long weekend, when I came home today in the cabin on the lowest part of the floor just outside the door for the bathroom (fridge opposite side) was completely saturated. While I was out for a few days, I used the a/c extensively, showered...
Thanks, much appreciated, surprised I would have thought that with all of those faucets the water was ok for drinking. But this makes sense, good to know.
