    ...tree fell on it.

That's my guess too. Should have pictures later today. The wife was dispatched to look at it, since she works in the area, and I'm going on her description (after she got done talking about the color scheme...) that the rails were slightly bent, and the fiberglass / gelcoat had "cracks"...

    ...tree fell on it.

Called about a 2002 BR today, and it was priced the way it was because a windstorm knocked over a small tree (or branch) that fell across the bow and bounced off the rails to the ground. The bow rails are slightly bent, and the attachment points (where the rails mount to the hull) to the boat...

    Aftermarket swim platforms?

For a 210BR. I really like the looks of Teak, but it seems like most I see are fiberglass. Any tips on a preferred manuf. / mounting method? Is this something best left to a shop to make holes in the transom? TIA

    2000 - 2002 210BR questions

Aye, there's the rub. All the decent mechanics are booked solid until mid-July around here right now, with the late (and welcome) cool weather in the Sacramento area, all the shops are backed up with de-winterizing work that would usually happen in April / May. I'm gonna be on my own in doing...

    2000 - 2002 210BR questions

Thanks for the replies on the previous thread RE: outdrives. I'm looking for advice on what things in particular I should be paying attention to as I'm evaluating used 210BR's. Any specific features to avoid? (prev. thread mentioned corrosion probelms with B3 outdrives of that vintage, for...

    Alpha or Bravo Drives?

Trailering:Yes Saltwater: Hmm...only the occasional venture into brackish / delta waterways is a possibility. 99% in inland lakes and the Sacramento river. I'm sure I'll facepalm 2 seconds after posting...but what are "P.O's" Please elaborate...

    Alpha or Bravo Drives?

From what I've seen in the used boat market, it seems like the Alpha was the default drive with the 5.0 injected motor. Am I making a correct assumption here? Not much attention is paid to the outdrive in most CL / Boattrader ads...you generally have to call to find out and about half the people...

    Alpha or Bravo Drives?

I'm narrowing in on a used, 2000-2002, 210BR as the next boat. From the spec sheets I've downloaded from SeaRay (one of the reasons I've settled on SeaRay is their deep store of online info and support) I see that there were two drive options; Alpha and Bravo. What's the difference? I'll be...

    Hello from a future 22' bow-rider owner

Welp, another hobby, another 5 forums to join:grin: I've been boatless since I sold my 85 Glastron 175 (the best damn $5000 boat anyone ever had...drove the hell out of it 5 years, always started first turn, sold for $4000...the "Before Kids" boat) when my kids were babies. I knew it...
