Battery switch settings question. The battery switch uses batteries 1 and 2 to start the port engine and the house lights. Battery 3 starts the starboard engine and generator. When I start and am under way I have the battery switch on 1 for port engine. My question is if battery 2 is being...
Battery question. I am replacing my three batteries. I currently have three starting batteries. Is this the best option? Secondly, when you are running where do you set your battery switch? 1,2 or both?
Looking to replace the three batteries in my 2003 280 Sundancer with twin 4.3 fuel injected and also with a generator. There are currently three starter batteries that are 2.5 years old and new when I bought the boat. Are these the correct batteries or should I also have a deep cycle. Second...
Thanks for everyone's help. I have ordered a gauge from FP Marine that appears to be an exact match except it is not a plug in gauge. I will cut off my plug and wire directly.
Thanks for your reply. I was not sure if any aftermarket gauge would work. My gauge is a plug in gauge. The gauges that FP Marine have are single wire connected. Would you think any gauge would work if I cut off the plug in connector and directly wired it to the terminals?

I need some help locating a fuel gauge for my 2003 280 Sundancer. SeaRay is know longer supporting this gauge and gave no advice for a replacement. The fuel gauge is connected by a plug in connector. I cannot locate this gauge in the aftermarket. I can find a gauge that appears to be an...
Looking forward to hearing your results when you get it in the boat. My EIM completely failed in April 2019. At that time Blink and Sea Ray could not offer any solution but said it was in the works without any estimated time frame. My only choice was the FP Marine system. It has worked perfectly...
My entire EIM electrical system shorted out April 2019. The current system has been discontinued by Sea Ray and they were unable to offer a solution. They advised something was in the works but unavailable. After doing research I learned this possible new system will be another electrical system...
