    Hidden interior screws

I've started the process of replacing the cabin head liner, hull liner and vinyl wall coverings and have had to slit the old coverings to get at the screws hidden behind. Does anyone know what magic is involved to reattach the panels in the same fashion? Thanks, Dave

    1988 300DA Generator location?

My '88 300DA did not come with an OEM genset but I have recently acquired a complete Onan 6.5 I wish to install. Where did Sea Ray locate them from the factory? Anyone have pics? Thanks

Hello all, I'm installing A/C in our '88 Sundancer, (upgrading from a Carryon hatch unit), from what I can gather, the A/C raw water pump was factory located in the forward bilge in the aft cabin? How much noise will the pump produce? Wife won't be happy if it keeps her up at night. TIA

Finally.. some pictures - full interior refit

WOW very nice!!! I'm just tearing into my interior now. Started by stripping and varnishing all the interior wood. Can I ask what LED lights you used in the headliner?

    Official 1980's Weekender/Sundancer 300 thread

I do get water in my blower vents, but the hoses in my vent box are at the top, so I just sealed the vent box to the hull to prevent the water from running down into the bilge. I get a little water trapped in the bottom of the vent box that dries up with in a day after a rain.

    Alpha One water in lube

Thanks Dennis. Whats your thoughts on vacuum testing a drive? Seems to be some controversy on the interwebs about vacuum testing a Merc drive.

    Alpha One water in lube

Hello all, While draining my drives for the winter, I noticed the starboard side oil was a light coloured green indicating I had water in the lube - correct? But the drive pressure tests fine, it held 12 lbs for 24 hours. I turned the input shaft occasionally and even shifted it during...

    Sling Positioning for '88 270DA

Yes, factory marked with engraved black/white plastic tabs screwed to the hull. I'll see if I can dig up a pick. Mine are very brittle due to age I found out when I removed them while compounding the hull. Look for 4 sets of screw holes where they may have been, perhaps they are gone.

    Sling Positioning for '88 270DA

I'd line the slings up with the rear and forward bulk heads, and that is where my 300DA is marked. Are you setting it on blocks and stands?
