i have went into day dream mode of doing the loop..a diesel powered trawler would be ideal,,big bucks!!on my budget i would use a small sedan bridge,, with a large fuel tanks,,and a very large expence budget

i believe your WOT should be 4400,,,5.7 or 7.4 ??i have the 84 dancer 5.7 alpha,, great ride , but very sluggish with the 5.7 alpha 15X17 prop is common,i use it ,let the bow come up some trim up the drive , but i think that 5200 rpm is way to high,,

same problem , raw water cooled thermastat of mine was salted close ,, ( cheap fix)

i thought aabout that too, i was shopping also for the 29 ,,,,,,twins are nice , with the second engine, but twice the maintance,, 2 sets of risers and manifolds two outdrives to maintain ETC,i would stay with the single 7.4

i use needle nose plyers on block wing nuts,,9/16 wrench on manifolds bottom drains some times i have to remove block wingnut pet cocks unclog with like a 3/16 wire ,,i then pull thermastat housing and with themastat , reinstall plugs pout in RV antifreeze thru top of manifold where housing...
