Thanks for the reply The mayfair is the brand that is on the boat and very noisy and I read a while back about a higher end blower that is much quieter.

Engines turn up to 4600 rpm. It only happens under load at idle. gotta be between engine and tranny. Gotta find a merc mechanic who cares about his work to solve the problem. So much for work ethic and mercruiser customer service. Boats going in soon and the saga continues. Thanks

You don't have analog guages. They are electronically connected to the smartcraft. I get different readings when on plane and therfore do not rely on them at all. Do you get the same false readings when the boat is not moving? In my smartcraft there is a page that shows fuel burn and...
