Can anyone recommend a good quality fender holder for the grab rail on our boats? I'm thinking I'd like to put them up closer to where I use them and get them out of my lazerette.
thanks

We don't sell a lot of these, but it seems we've sold more of the Windline brand than anything else. The one time I ordered a few in, I do remember them being nicer. I don't recall the other brands, though. But I will say, they all (at least the ones I've personally seem) seem to made of thinner metal (whether strap or rod) then I would've imagined.
just looked Windline up....your right they do look thinner than you would expect...Windline has some HD ones (according to their listings)....$149 a pop..... https://www.google.com/webhp?source...+fender+rack&tbm=shop&spd=6765762096794266934

have these on my current boat. really nice welded construction. not the flat riveted. really nice clamps as well
well worth the money. will purchase again if i get another boat. Some I see on other boats look like they could fall off at any minute they are so cheap.
I'm reasonablly sure that's them. The brackets that hold two together, the brackets that attach them to the rail are sold seperately. I'm talking about the ones in your photo.
I have Jim Buoy brand fender baskets on my boat. Most of the time I love having fenders in the baskets as opposed to taking up valuable storage space. Sometime they impede visibility and I silently curse them out.
Overall, I find that these SS straps held up very well for 8 seasons now (better than I expected) and adjustable angle makes it easier to line them up with the stanchions. They came with ss mounting brackets and ss hardware but I found their stock bolts too short for 1" rails. No big deal.
