Jones Beach Air Show

Ah, brings up some fun memories. But, don't count on being bored. When I said that so far I see 90deg swings twice, it was a hint. It's very possible that we'll have to reposition the raft twice, if there won't be enough room for others to swing clear of us.

The floor looks awesome. Bring some planks of the wood I want to see the raw material.
 
That's ok alex it'll give us something to look forward to. As long as there's no sailboats breaking free and coming right for us I think well be fine! Its always fun untangeling anchors at the end of a trip to!
And yes! That floor looks stunning greg and I think u just solved my trim mystery! How did u get the trim to contour to the steps? What did u use? I have a lot of questions when u arrive if that's ok

I was just thinking the same. That's some craftsmanship on the trim.

Been a little crazy at home, not online as much lately and finally got the boat launched this weekend.

I just wanted to update our info for your list.
Our boat name is "Yoliseas" and our crew is Kevin, Yolanda, Sean(14) and Chris(11).
We will be coming only for the day on Saturday and looking forward to meeting all!

Since we will be coming out Saturday, if anyone staying over Friday needs anything on Saturday let me know and I will see if we can accommodate. Otherwise let me know what if I should bring anything.

We are all planning on arriving Saturday morning. We have quite a few boats now. I hope we can get a big enough spot for the entire raft.
Is anyone other than Ron and Jonathan going to be there Friday?

What about stringing a long line between the two anchored boats with life vests tied to it? Then Jonathan doesn't have to get in the cold water.
 
Greg I was thinking about that but I don't know how cg would like that? If u guys think ill b ok and not bothered and if rons ok with it ill run a 200 ft line no problem
 
Ron can drop anchor and b base boat 1 and ill drop on the other end and tie as many lines as I can together string them across to my boat and as people show up start tying up to mine and work over to ron? Or visaversa. Ill man the line with the dink every time another boat shows up? Any other thought?

Ron how much line do u have?

My idea is to b west once u enter zacks ss center as I can of the bay but probably more towards the north side? Any thoughts on that
 
Running lines with orange PFDs attached between anchored boats could be ok, theoretically. But, I would expect that CG might not like that. However, since it's the simplest approach you could start with it and if CG tells you to remove it as a hazard, then plan B would anchoring dinghies in between.

Ahh, didn't think of the CG. I wonder what they would say? Maybe we'll leave a little earlier as well.
 
I think that leaving SOLI around 7am could be doable.
 
So I'm getting to Zachs Friday, but my raft of friends is growing large (10+ boats). My concern here is getting a space big enough accommodate everybody (30 boats wide!!), and keep my NON CSR friends together. We can do something like CSR on one side, non CSR on the other......thoughts?

As long as you are on the CSR side, that's fine.
 
Let's c how big we can get it I think we should all join one fart. And yea ill run the line until I'm told I can't lol

Ron are u ok with running a line from u to me until people show up? Ill b there 545 sat am and do u have line to your to mine to make it longer?
