that really looks nice.....what you need is a few kids with cheetos and juice boxes (red, purple??) to really break it in. If you'd like, I can arrange it.

Thanks Paul, I'll check with the wife and see if she would like that.

Oh, the TV is done too. I don't have a good before photo, but it was this old CRT:

Looks great! Any reason u didn't go full wood floor? Or just personal preference?

There are removable panels under the carpeted area for more major type engine service/access. I didn't think I would like having seams in the hardwood around these panels. Plus I like the 'feel' of carpet.

That looks great Greg! All of it! I may let you update my boat yet!

My plan at this point remains leaving my home port around 9am when our friends arrive from Brooklyn (they say they are leaving at 8am). I should be in Zach's by 10am.

Just curious, does anyone have issues with using a Magma BBQ grill (propane) while in the raft up? I am hoping to make burgers and dogs on the grill, but don't want to presume everyone is ok with grilling while tied up to everyone else.

No worries Harold, there will be a big grilling cookout going on there. We all use grills.

While we're on the subject of consideration while rafting, just a few friendly reminders:
- Check your CO detectors. With big raft and gas boats we'll need all CO detection we can get.
- Have at least 3 properly sized fenders.
- Have at least 3 properly sized lines.
- Don't forget to fill water and fuel.
- Start your trip with an empty holding tank.
- If you haven't test it this season yet, make sure the windlass works fine. Since we'll be spending the long weekend at anchor, you want to make sure your is operating as expected.

Those are just few that came to mind.

B4 I forget to do this. As u know I will b arriving at zacks at about 545 to try and reserve room. As u arrive I will have channel 69 on I will try my best to stay awake after setting up but no promises so the first arrival might have to wake me up 3476129655. I will have a large American flag hanging from my vhf antenna. My plan is to reserve room between me and ron and try to hold it as long as possible so anybody arriving try and take the side of my boat that is not between me and ron and ss we run out of room with that we will use the reserved space.

Hey fellas... I appreciate the invite, but We're not going to join you guys on the raft this year...

We will be out there anyways rafted up with some family friends that do there own party every year... Will be easier with the baby for us, have some built in babysitters there...

Would be great to meet you guys anyways...

Maybe I can convince Jonathan to swing over in the dink and pick me up and I can come hang for a bit....

Looks like the weather is going away and should be a great weekend!!

Have a great time if I don't make it over...

Hey guys.

Have a great weekend. Looks like a great time ahead.

I sold the Amberjack and bought a Blackfin which is currently getting her survey punch list taken care of so I am boatless for the weekend.

Please post up some pics next week.

Drove by Zach's Bay this morning on the way to work. 3 boats already in the bay for the weekend. They each took one of the pylings near the entrance channel.
The ocean looked fairly calm and the bay was a sheet of glass. Only a light chop under the Robert Moses Causeway Bridge.

I hope the clouds dissipate!

I just drove past Zach's Bay again. A few more boats are there, including a Sundancer... Is someone there already?? I wanted to stop a get a picture but there was no place to stop.
