I have a 96' 330. The engine room hatch lift system is weakening and I think I need to replace it. Any thoughts? Rebuild in the winter, replace, purchase a rebuilt unit? Thanks guys.

If it is a Werner Electric Actuator like I have, it is not produced anymore. There is a replacement. Contact Werner and they can tell you the P/N of the replacement. Then go online and fine a distributor with one... I found my replacement for 1/3 the cost of buying it through sea ray... As it turned out... I greased mine and it has been working and I have not replaced it yet...

this is my actuator and its replacement:

Warner Electric

Old discontinued model: DM12-10A5-18 (no parts)

Replacement: K2 G10-12VM BR-18

Rod, my starboard side lift sounds like it's gonna die any day now. I greased it in the fitting and the dam fitting popped off!! I was able to screw it back in and it's been holding, but the grinding noise is just awful. Any thoughts?

I have a single jack screw lifter... You have two... I am not sure why yours is making that noise. My problem is my motor is drawing too many amps. I took off as much weight as I could to make it easier for the actuator... It seems to be working, but I am not sure for how long...

I have one brand new DM12-10A5-18 for sale.

Hey BoatMailster, is that for a 340? If so, how much are you asking for it?

this one is about 25" in closed position and 18" stroke. that size is used on most of sea rays. check your actuator size first. on some boats factory installed extension tube and if you have one of those, you will need to reuse it.
