Im not quite sure I'm following you regarding teaching children to ignore a law? The last time I did bong hits with my 12, 8 and 3 year old, I told them it was tabacco :huh:
 
Well since you stated that you tell "everyone and anyone" that you are a big fan of 420 then I'll assume your children know as well. Since parents teach by example, well, you're teaching them to disregard any law you happen to disagree with.

My son was just born a couple weeks ago on 4/20. I told my wife he better not be a pot head! haha

Seriously..........? These are things that are proven to cause medical problems and people still ABUSE them. Why do you think the Surgeon General places warnings on all packaging. You could fill the Empire State building with all the literature that has been published related to tobacco and alcohol abuse and health related problems.

Are you serious with that extrapolation? I dont think any of my kids would even know what pot is let alone have ever heard me speaking about or witnessed anything regarding it.

I am talking about among adults, when in conversation about it, I will openly admit to enjoying it.

Geez, do you really need clarification for something like that?
 
You proponents seem to be advocating TAXES!!!! "Tax" it is all I ever hear.. how about the effing bozos stop SPENDING!!!!!!!! Arnold is a hypocrite. Political expediency and fiscal irresponsibility is no reason to make policy/social changes. Smoke it if you want, I have a time or two in my earlier years and may again after I retire but have the argument based on legalization not on taxation...

Oh I agree wholeheartedly with reducing their spending. That SHOULD be first and foremost, but a lot can be gained by taxing usage, but even more so is the use of hemp for so many things to replace timber and even some plastics. It is a whole industry.

And yes, of course the benefit is that something less damaging than alcohol could be used by consenting adults who may enjoy it.
