Baltimore Inner Harbor 2009

Has the Atlantic City gathering taken the place of this event?
Jeff-
In a word: No.
We may lose a few people, like Gary and Stan, who are going to AC. But we should still have a pretty large gathering based upon last year's turnout. We had 20+ boats last year--- and Gary came by car because he didn't want to run up the Bay with no alternator.

So by my math, we're really only down one boat from last year. Not that we won't miss those guys, but I think we will survive.

We are in the "I don't know" camp...

I hear that Jersey has better crab cakes than Maryland...

I read somewhere that there is lake house on the Chickahominy River where one can attend a real crab bake....are those crabs better than MDs?

If this means spending more quality time with my #1 CSR buddy, we may even make the trip!

Not sure we can make this year, as we need to run some 160 nautical miles or so to sample some imitation crab cakes.

We are in, and now doing AC by SUV. Have we picked a BIH Marina yet? Inner Harbor East again?

Carissima, I hope you can make it as I am still in awe of you getting your boat in the BIH slip last year with inches (if that much) to spare and Festivus' and Sea:/Drive's anchors at the ready to 'alert' you to any mistakes in your docking ability. In all seriousness you docked perfect with an audience and no margin for error!

I am done with winter, critiquing other people's docking skills months afterward...

Somebody start a fight...

You're kidding, right Todd? Did you miss "The wingless poll" and "Anarchy and Lawlessness" threads?

Best regards,
Frank

Last I checked a fight requires at least 2 parties...both of these are one side.

Forget a fight, lets start a riot!

As they say, "Even a blind squirrel can find a nut in the woods once in a while".
