Game over man! Game over! Wonder what the range on my old turd is with the water and holding tanks full of fuel?? Thank god I have dual citizenship and can return to the homeland at any time...not that things are looking a whole lot better in Germany now but in a couple years I'm sure they will...

Im buying all the fuel I can and moving out on to Lake Michigan for 4 years... Ill probably get taxed for using the water though.

Incredible speech. I'm scared to death, but pray that he becomes the greatest president this country has ever seen.
 
I hope he does good for the country, typically what happens in the USA, trickles up into the Great White North, we're all in the same boat really, just on different decks, rising water will get us all eventually. Good luck

Why is it when someone disagrees, the other person(s) now has/have to be an "idiot" or worst.

When I hear these comments or read them, I have to ask just who the actual "idiot " may be? There is ignorance and stupidity, one can be overcome the other cannot.

In my opinion the worst case here is that all may be controlled by the democrats.

I pray the new Face of Hope has the backbone of an American Patriot. To stand up not only to our enemies abroad, but also to the more dangerous home grown kind....Pelosi & Co. who think he is nothing more than their puppet on a string.

I have the Audacity To Hope he does just that. To deliver on his promise to serve US. Only then will I believe. The rough times ahead will tell.

This is what is wrong with this country. The name-calling is silly. There was a time when everyone was cordial even if you disagreed. I bet you don't like it when athletes trash talk on the field.....this is the same thing! She is probably smarter than most of us but doesn't come across that way and the press really focused on it. You got a silver-tongued devil hope your happy.

I think Senator McCain handled it properly in his speech. That is the kind of leadership both parties need.
 
I haven't read the paper this morning, but when I went to bed last nite around 11 EST, the popular vote was only 2M apart. This country is split right down the middle. Completely polarized.

The sad part about the way this ended up, is basically, anything congress approves will get obama's "present" stamp like he did in congress(the only difference, is now his stamp is bigger). So, expect many programs to come down the pipe, with taxes going thru the roof, and interest rates going up. Expect the Iranian Government, Al-Quaida and Koreans to be partying like crazy as someone else said. Gun control will be Biden's area that he'll be working on.

Update: just read the paper - bummer, our town voted for obama by 700 out of 5,000 total votes.

I am angry and pissed off about this thing our country called an election last night and the thousands of college kids running up and down the street celebrating....is one really mature enough to cast a vote for president at age 18? I am also getting sick to my stomach this morning seeing all the interviews with african americans crying and rejoicing. You don't think this election was about race...think again. I never once looked at Obama as an african american until this morning.

It's no longer God Bless America, it's God Help America.
 
Yeah, I hadn't thought about the affect this will have on the soldiers on the various fronts. I'm afraid we're going to see a high loss of life due to this election result. Sad, sad, sad.
