anyone watching Mcain getting dusted......

I don't have a problem with black voters voting for obama because he is black. I do have a problem when I hear some of the 96% putting down the 4% for not voting for obama!

I am 36. That is what politics should be like. At some point you have to agree to disagree and move on with life. We are all in the same boat, and we better start rowing in the same direction on the major issues. After all, we are the United States not the Divided States. It would be a shame to have to re-draw the Mason Dixon line! Besides that, then the conservatives would have all the warm states :)

See everyone... Surfnjoe and i have differing view on things, had a spat, poked some fun, and now are over it. This is a start

Just a little experiment Joe, how old are you?

I'm 28. I figured the generation gap wouldn't be that far off. That is the difference between you and I disagreeing and say Fc3 and I disagreeing.

Since Frank is gone because of his intelectual property being stolen I don't have to worry about any reprocussion from him

To all the conservatives in the house:

Although it is a sad day for our party, we must do everything in our power to support the new president elect. without compromising our values or integrity. It is important to show our fellow country men that we WILL support our president despite race, party or gender. We will have another turn in the oval office, and when that day comes we will also demand the same respect for our candidate.

We must have confidence in the checks and balances that are already in place. I am confident that our country will not let ANY ONE PERSON crush our democracy that we have spent over 200 years creating and protecting.

We must put our faith in GOD, and not any man, party or government. Maybe this election is a wake-up call for conservatives to GET BACK to our roots and stop trying to please the moderate crowd. Once you sell out, it is near impossible to regain integrity!

Remember this, our children are THE FUTURE. They WILL run our country some day. It is our job as adults, parents, uncles/aunts, grandparents, big brothers/sisters and neighbors to teach them EVERYTHING we know about life and help them grow and mature into leaders of society. When I am too old to carry my burden any further, they will be the ones who decide my fate and help me as I am helping them now.

As a parent, my children have been placed in my care by GOD. It is my responsibility to prepare them for life and show them as much as in can in the time that I have. Take time to go fishing with them, hunting with them, BOATING with them, camping with them, to the movies with them....whatever floats THEIR boat (no pun intended). But get to know them and teach them and build their confidence in themselves.

Same basic generation. My folks tought me to listen as well as talk. When I grew-up, I went to a very LIBERAL private and elite school. They were very big on tolerance and understanding others.

One of my very good friends is a liberal. Sure we have our fair share of arguments....but nothing a beer and a smack in the arm (or head) can't fix! And yes, sometimes he proves me wrong....outch, that hurt....but I am a big boy and I know when I have been beat! No one is perfect, and we ALL get cought-up in our own thoughts sometimes. Sometimes, it takes someone from an opposing viewpoint to show us our mistakes and get us back on track!

My goodness . . . some people having a rational political discussion. I didn't think that was allowed here!

I am pm'ing the moderators now to expunge you all.

I just hope that the Republicans draw good lessons from the '06 and '08 elections. In my view, these elections were about accountability. The Democrats will have their first accountability test in two years.

Actually most of my friends are conservatives or moderates. I'm the crazy liberal. We deal with disagreement the same way. Have a beer and call each other dumbasses and move on

We boat on Lake Erie. I went to Indian Lake a couple of times when i had my Crownline and when the depth founder never went past four feet i decided not to go again. We sometimes go to Alum Creek but not often.

I know what you mean. When I bought my boat, the sales lady told me to trim the O/D to 50% at take-off, then trim it up to full when on plane. I looked at her like WTF....she said that it would be a shame to have to repair or replace a new prop. on a new boat....I nodded and did as I was told.

One day I hope to take the family to Put In Bay. I have heard a lot of good things about that place :)

Here on St. Clair, we have some great party's....The Raft-Off, Jobbie Nooner, Aquapalluza and many others. Now I have a tear in my eye thinking about it....damn winter!

As they say....what comes around goes around....and here it goes!

I just read an article that talked about Obama requesting to meet with the CEO's of GM, Ford and Chrysler in the next couple of weeks. Apparently he is taking their situation very seriously. My fear is that he will offer them a bail-out in exchange for them building only electric and hybrid cars. I need my SUV to pull my boat, and what would life be like without my GTO with a big LS1 V8 and 425 HP....I have yet to own a car with less than 6 cylinders and 150 HP. Besides, my gas-guzzling V8 gets GREAT mileage on the freeway....between 25 & 27 MPG (although it does take premium fuel ONLY).

IF you look at my sig pic you can see Perrys Monument on Put in Bay in the Background. Put-in-Bay is great for the kids during the day but once the sun goes down watch out. And just so we stay on topic Ottawa County which Put-in-Bay is situated in voted democrat

Democrat's don't scare me :) If what you say is true about sun down, the only thing we have to fear is drunk old people getting naked :) LOL

At our Jobbie Nooner bash, we see all kinds of saggy old boobs as the sun goes down. The more they drink, the more they show. It's all about the beads if you know what I mean!
