OC and Shaps - that I haven’t seen (wiper control module / black box) - I’ll go digging! Definitely a good chance it’s a connection there too, worth checking.

Thinking about it some more, it may be on the board behind the MFDs... Man, i used to remember everything... now, if i don't take a picture, it didn't happen! UGH!

Cruising speed and RPMS, what does everyone cruise at on long distance? I think my engines RPMs peak at 2600. I dont like to get it WOT but that what I think they do. Also just got deka AGM batteries. At anchor what is longest recommended time before using genset to charge if they are only running fridge/freezer and some music?

replacement faucet in cockpit sink. Not sure if mine is OEM but it is too close to side of sink and water is always running down side from washing anything, it needs to be more in center of sink. Has anyone replaces theirs?

Hey there - if you comb through the pages from the beginning - you’ll find some good feedback on RPMs vs Speed vs Fuel Burn from many of us. Personally, I like 2260-2280, with a sprinkling of 2350 mixed in the good measure, but she runs all day at 2280 burning 40gph. As far as the genny goes, I’m trying to get better at running it 100% of the time when away from the dock. You can’t overexercise it, and the more they run the better. Also, under a full load it’ll burn a gallon an hour. That gallon an hour is better than worrying about discharged batteries and our boats are meant to have all the comforts of home which require the genny.

Your right on generator, how many hours is the most you've ever seen on one?

My WOT is 3060, tend to cruise between 2650 and 2750

Searay gave me these specs when I first bought the boat:

Cummins QSC 550 ETS T-526
TRANSMISSION / GEAR: ZF 105S
SHAFT (DIAMETER x LENGTH): 28.5”x3.5” Jackshaft
PROP SIZE (DIAMETER x PITCH): Z13+ FWD 4B INERTIA SS; Z13+ AFT 3B INERTIA SS
GEAR REDUCTION RATIO: 1.75:1
{2} RPM @ CRUISE: 2800
{3} SPEED @ CRUISE: 31-35 MPH
{3} SPEED @ CRUISE: 26.9-30.4 KNOTS
{4} FUEL USAGE @ CRUISE: 53.6 GPH

W.O.T. RPM: 3000
{3} W.O.T. SPEED: 36-40 MPH
{3} W.O.T. SPEED: 31.2-34.7 KNOTS
{4} FUEL USAGE @ W.O.T.: 66 GPH

Way less than the 30,000 the generator motor is rated for without a major rebuild! I’ve personally seen over 5000 hours a recreational use boat, but those are few and far between. Most of us probably less than 1500, which is sad!

Anyone have the 8.3 w max rpms of 2600. I don't want to go WOT. Just comparison for speed and fuel burn

What is your approximate speed at 2280??

I haven't had mine long yet, in the bilge I see seacock for (2)engines, (2)AC, (1) generator. I don't see the one for pumping out waste water...where is located at?

Black water discharge is port forward of the port motor - Gray water is dumped directly into the main discharge pipe on the starboard side.

My WOT is 34.5 MPH @ 2670 RPM burning 57.5 GPH with full fuel, water, 1/2 waste, and dinghy on the platform.

Why not the smart craft display, does it show one engine higher fuel burn than the other one? Is this normal? Mine shows one engine with varying gph of 1 to 3 more gph on one engine than other

What year is your boat?

Mine burn pretty damn close to eachother on the Smartcraft and at the pump (verified). That being said, there are a few things that could drive up fuel burn - assuming you're synced when running. First thing to check would be really dirty AirSeps on the motor. Those filters may look ok from the outside, but the Coalesce (*sp) filters on the inside, if they're restricting flow at all will drive up fuel burn a bit. However, a couple of gallons either way between the motors is likely considered to be within spec. Curious to know others input here. Mine are within . (points) of eachother.

Yes synced when running, I was told at first it was generator by someone then noticed its not
