Keep Track of Rising Prices

Uh...incorrect, you’re just a troll....and one that sounds miserable. You must be super fun at parties.

Again, joined Monday, 28 posts, all to spread it's liberal agenda... how are we to conclude anything else but troll? Most new users with a true interest in CSR will introduce themselves, post a picture of their boat and tell us a little about themselves and where they boat... I'll be waiting.

Oh little men are you really that threatened by a woman with a brain? Hell no I'm not a troll. I'm a woman with my eyes wide open to what's going on in this country. I worked low-paying jobs too but not for my life. Young people today are getting screwed they're carrying huge amounts of tuition debt and they're working minimum wage jobs. Try educating yourself on the current economic catastrophe for young people today not the good old days when you were young.
Most of us on here have children, many college age plus/minus a few years. So we are well aware. But the truth is, young people who take out extra ordinary amounts of debt for college are just fools. There are affordable college options, but you have to be smart about it. And the recent college graduates I know are far from working minimum wage jobs.

Young people today need to get a job and pay for school as they go. What is wrong with a couple years of community college while they flip burgers a couple nights a week and weekends.

After CC off to a major university. Keep working part time plus a small loan.

This whole poor me, I took out a big loan for my basket weaving major and now I don't make enough money to pay off my loan if BS. YOU took out a loan and it is ridiculous to ask others to pay for it. Get a grip on life. It's not that hard.

Why are these kids you are referring to at minimum wage jobs? Did they pick a degree that is worthless so they could party their asses off? Probably.

Just a side note. I'm in my early 40's. College was expensive back then too. I figured it out. Pretty easy.

Okay so you were in college 20 years ago. I worked my way through college and no one gave me a nickel but, I can clearly see what's going on now and it's impossible to work your way through college now. College has gone up tremendously in the past 20 years. Last week, I talked to a young person at a supermarket who was a cashier with an electrical engineering degree. Believe me it's not the same world of work that you entered 20 years ago.

Ya @Mary Moore what @JimG said... you seem strong willed in your beliefs, not afraid to state your opinion, supportive to the plight of others, willing to educate your fellow man.... you are like the perfect wife... please post pic of boat and motor :)
Sorry darling already taken. Thank you for the kind words and yes I am a bit feisty. Lol

The AVERAGE cost of a state school is between 25k and 35k per YEAR. The cost of college has tripled in the last 20 years. Many of the young people that are screaming for a minimum wage of $15 an hour are in fact college educated young people. If you can't get a job and you're carrying almost 100k in debt you can't survive. More needs to be done to educate young people about the benefits of a community college for the first two years.

Lots of EE jobs out there. Take a look at Linkedin.

So this is a Republican's only thread gee, I didn't know that and as far as posting a picture of myself you've got to be kidding. And for the record I didn't start this thread but I did respond to it. And that's my first amendment right.

What’s the 1st Amendment?

Yes there are EE jobs out there unfortunately there might be 50 or 60 applicants for one job. A friend of mine has a son who has a doctorate degree in English and each time he applies there's 350 applicants for one job!

Electrical Engineers are in high demand in the Automotive market as the electronification and advanced safety systems (ADAS) is making the modern vehicle a moving computer. They are moving towards an entirely new electrical architect that will use a HPCC module over the numerous ECU the current vehicles use. These positions are not just regional, they are in located in many areas.
That supermarket worker needs to put more effort in to getting a new position that would allow them to use the skills they learned and make a good living.
I know multiple Electrical Engineers that have obtained a position within the last 2 years earning over 90K (starting salary).

“Many Americans myself included are tired of that age old nonsense of the first amendment. The first amendment was written when there was no Internet , social media and 24/7 media. You don't need f in offensive language to be in public. Religion is also offensive. The only thing offensive language is good for is hurting humans. Is that what you intend to do?”

sorry I plagiarized your very 1st post....but it’s okay because our resident and vice resident do it all the time.

Many high school students enter college with a bunch of credits already. Friends daughter graduated in three years, thus saving one full year of college expense.

You supermarket cashier isn't willing to relocate, or some other factor is affecting his job search. Lot's of demand for engineers out there.

Why on earth would somebody get a doctorate in English? There is no real world value there unless you wanted to be a college professor. And 350 applicants for one job is nothing. When I graduated, there where 1000s of applicants for a single job. Finding that first job is work and you have to be persistent. Nothing is just given to you just because.
