Congratulations! I'm running a '98 down here in Florida and love it. Bought it two years ago with 310 hours, and have definitely run them up since then. Enjoy it!Hello All, I just purchased a 1998 330 Sundancer with 7.4L Mercs with 250 hrs... I keep her the South Shore of Long Island. I have put about 12 hours on her since I purchased her two weeks ago. So far so good. I am very pleased with the layout and I added custom sunpad on the bow which the Mrs. really enjoys..
I need to do some minor repairs for example replace the foot control for the windlass and replace a charger outlet at the helm. I look forward to enjoying more of this boat.

I know for sure it was not an option in 1997. The only BBC options were carbed or MPI 7.4s.Ok gents. Here's one for you. When did the 380HP Horizon engine come out and was it available on the 1998 330? I saw a 1998 online with Horizons -- never seen that before.
Just found the brochure online. Turns out it was an option. Cool.I know for sure it was not an option in 1997. The only BBC options were carbed or MPI 7.4s.
hey hows it going. i was wondering if anyone has replaced a swim platform from a 97 330 to a 95 330
I like that new platform. If we don't end up going bigger boat wise, I may look into this mod.
Nice upgrade!!LED update:
I was at the boat with some time on my hands today so decided to do an upgrade. I had about 5ft of leftover LED strip light from a while ago and decided to wire it as a hidden counter top light. I wired it into the projector reading light so the the little switch on the side turns both on. Was a bit of a pain running the wires. I had to drill up and back to get a hole to run into the TV cabinet to get wires up to the fixture. Works great. Pics are daytime but you get the idea.
I like it too. My questions are:I like that new platform. If we don't end up going bigger boat wise, I may look into this mod.
All valid questions for sure. I was wondering what the weight capacity is too. Did he say in the video?I like it too. My questions are:
Will it hold a rigid bottom dinghy and motor?
My current platform submerges when I come off plane. Will this new platform be worse and will it withstand the aft pulling drag and lift over time?
The engine cover scuppers will be blocked by the thickness of the new platform. However, the video author said the water still drains between the sandwiched decks without issue.
He has a YouTube channel and you can add comments and he responds. All valid questions for sure. I was wondering what the weight capacity is too. Did he say in the video?
If you mean regret opting for a 95 to 99 330 vs a 340, its hard to say. When I bought mine there was a substantial price difference. The hulls are in fact exactly the same. The main differences were:Anyone regret not getting a 99-02 340 at all? I keep hearing its the same hull. It looks longer but narrower than a 330.

There is a fiberglass filler that fills that spot. It is made like the rear seat is. It has depressions that are molded in with drain holes. Its a pretty bulky item so lots of people store them at home if they don't use them. Mine sits on the aft cabin bed most of the time until we anchor out or sleep in the aft.2 quick questions for 98 330.
On the wraparound at the rear, what do you put underneath to make it a wrap around for the seating. I have the pad, but not the thing to put underneath.
Also where do I purchase the pole for the rear table?
