Exactly!!!
They really should use a county by county trajectory instead of state by state
Same with Michigan. Wayne county (Detroit) has the most cases and deaths by far in the state. Why would the whole state be determined by a major city that doesn’t comply with anything, let alone social distancing.Absolutely!
New York downstate is very different than many places upstate.
There are some small cities and pretty rural places in Upstate NY.
The majority of the population is crammed in to NYC and about 4 commuter counties in close proximity to it.
It’s crazy to automatically hold the rest of the counties in the state to the same restrictions as the city and surrounding counties.
I actually think there is a large large number of people that has it or had it.
That’s why I think the mortality rate is
A lot lower than reported.
And what did they accomplish??Embarrassment is all I saw from the Michigan rednecks.....LMAO
This took me over the edge....a guy outside by himself on a lawnmower can’t cut my businesses grass.... just ridiculous.... The 10,000 vehicles at the protest had a lot of landscapers there with their trailers...I'm getting my lawn mowed by the landscape company as usual, why can't they do it?

I googled around. Found nothing recent. Sources? You guys should google it. There's lots of info on the reasons from multiple sources ...none of which say NYC hospitals are not overrun. In a nutshell, it's bureaucratic BS and a major source of frustration for healthcare workers in NYC. The two military run facilities have long check lists of criteria patients need to meet before being transferred, and most patients (for whatever reason) don't meet them. Not sure what the criteria is, but most doctors and nurses say it's basically BS. Furthermore, ambulances cannot take patients directly to the Comfort. First, they must deliver patients to a city hospital to be tested for the virus and then pick them up again for transport to the ship. Hospital leaders rightfully (IMO) find the delays untenable.
Bottom line is hospitals ARE overrun in NYC. People ARE dying in hallways. The fact that these facilities are not being utilized is not a reflection on that.
Yes the ship was messed up at the beginning... but they added a tent to take patients direct... the problem was they were sending covid patients out of the gate....and the ship was there to take non covid patients..You guys should google it. Because most of the groups protesting are backed by alt right, Koch brothers and other crazy groups. Read the article posted in the Guardian. While stopping traffic they temporarily blocked an entrance to a hospital. The protest was nothing but a political rally, nobody wearing masks (not many), people touching one another, not using the 6 foot rule, then traveling home to spread more covid they probably picked up. Yep, rednecksWhy would you call them names? These are hardworking small business people that need to get back to work and make some money. They do not live in Detroit and their governor is issuing declarations for the whole state not allowing the areas not greatly affected by this to keep working. I'm getting my lawn mowed by the landscape company as usual, why can't they do it?
And the silly display in Michigan the other day was nothing short of ridiculous, glad I don't live in that shithole state
I have no idea what comment you’re responding to but I have an idea who you’re responding to...Ever been to Michigan? If so, what parts of the state have you visited? It is far from a shithole state. If it weren't for the cold winters, it would be one of the best places to live in the country. Pretty stupid statement dude.

I just ignore. If we all did that she would become irrelevantSomeone who contributes nothing to the forum but "content free" postings? Yea, that guy.
Everyone needs to use the report button on his vitriol filled postings and his political rants.
