So I just get to work and my wife calls me...
"car wont really go"
I tell her to limp it back home, she was only a mile away on the way to work. She calls me 5 minutes later...
"the car wont make it up the last hill around the corner from the house...Im stuck here"
She walks home as I trek back home to see whats up with he truck. I eventually pass her truck on the side of the road, go home, and get chains, my neighbor happens to be home this week, so he offered to pull me so I can steer it.
Get it home, look under, it is a cooling hose that has a leak in it. Figure thats the problem. Go to the dealer, get hose, 6 quarts of J matic fluid, go home change the hose, top off tranny fluid...let it run.
Nothing. Truck wont move. It actually wants to jump a bit when you shift it back into park. No gears work. Call the dealer, they send a tow truck, they have it now, Ill hear tomorrow as by the time they got it today (tow truck took almost 2 hours to get here!) they werent going to start looking at it, and all bays were filled for the last couple of hours of the day.
Here is the thing...less than 2000 miles ago, on a truck that has 55k miles, they did a power tranny flush. So...opinions?
I have my theory after reading up a bit on the net.
