Hi

This is my first time posting on the forum so thanks in advance for any help. I have a 2003 280 Sundancer. I recently purchased a VV Mobile module and I have it connected to one engine with a yellow termination plug. Just wondering if anyone has connected to twin engine with the VV and if so where did you purchase the cable to do so. Also apparently some of these boats have a junction box behind the helm to connect the VV to. I can’t seem to find anything on my boat but then maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place

Cheers

I had a junction box like this at the helm (visible as soon as you take out the gauge panel). As Tim says you can see the connections right to the back of the gauges.

If you have a box and there's an empty port, you can plug the VV mobile into that. In my case the box was full (twin MPI) so I tracked down a 8-port box and used that. Do you have Smartcraft gauges? 2003 was (I think) the first year so you might not have the wiring in place to link the engines.

Phil - do you have a couple of other J-Boxes under the helm? I was wondering where the Terminating resistors are.
