I have the same problem... Did anyone ever answer this question???

 

If by 'trim indicator gauge' you are referring to the drive trim gauge, and not a trim tab gauge, the problem points to problems with the trim sender on the drive. When these things go south, the gauges pegs itself in the trailer up position.

Thanks, I searched the CSR site for what to do... I plan on trying to take them apart first, if that fails, I will replace them with the splice method. I found a kit on line for $74, but I wan to try to clean the old ones first... thanks
