I just Pulled Both BBC 310hp for Complete Rebuild and there Now in work At L&R in Santa fe Springs Ca., Reason in being Both Engines took a Salt water Bath at the Dock Rear end only!, So Having the 454's worked along Added Gear Drives and upper Roller and Balancing both the Engines, The big reason is that Getting rid of these MPI Fuel Setup because they have both gone south!
AND so I'm Replacing it with set of the 1410 Carbs with a set of GM 333841 split bore Manifolds, By passing that $ MPI System and just using 7 wires Digital to and from to Control Helm Panel ---- And Thoughts on this will most be Helpful if anyone out there has ever done this before!
Another problem I am now is the re-Configuring the AC and DC Engine room? Any thoughts?
Or What can I do to make it as simple as possible? As I now go forward!

I don't see any upside to going the carb direction. You don't want a Victor Jr. manifold for this application. Marine engines need grunt down low, you want a dual plane manifold (Performer, maybe Performer RPM). Marine engines don't wind high enough to justify a single plane manifold, and will be soggy on the bottom end.

Your right!
I'm now going with My Marine GM 333841 Manifolds, But have small problem Cant find the Missing "Phenolic adapter" on one Manifold I see a # SAE (2A5-GF30) Has rubber Rings Groves on both Sides and Bolts to the Manifold--- Then the Carbs bolt on!

Any one know where to find or get this Part?

Your right! That 5000 RMP to 8000 RPM Wouldn't work at all!

Just had both of my motors rebuilt to factory spec and make 335 hp @4500 rpm and 475 lb tourqe. @3100 on the dyno also running efi . spoke extensively about increasing hp and the counsel was not to add hp to efi setup because of ecm and mapping ,but if going carb must go at least 100 hp to see a real difference .the bigger problem is adding to much cam lift causes water reversion be careful changing these motor setups

Just curious, how do you put a boat on a dyno?

Thinking of Dumping the MPI for Those Edelbrock 1410 Carb's and a set of Matching Split Bore GM 333841 Manifolds.

Your Right I'm Now been thinking that I really needed to dump those Original MPI Fuel injection System as there so very Expansive to replace!
But was trying to keep it simple and, As for now I have all the parts to go with the 1410 and the Split bore GM manifolds!
And Bunch of Franklins have gone out so far! And City Hall here at Home is not Happy at all!
All ever wanted was just a little bit Sunshine!!!!!!!!
