I guess I’m one of the few that has the ability to not open a thread that doesn’t interest me.

With that being said, I don’t believe in censorship. If anyone wants to start a thread, or make a comment in one, then so be it. I can make the choice to read it, or ignore it.

 

Amen to this. Trolls only troll because they get responses. I just ignore him.

I actually get a kick out of the posts, racist or not, in Merica one of the freedoms we enjoy is that of free speech. Even though I often disagree with his extreme views and they are far from original, I just chuckle and click on. What is really funny is watching some of us really go at it as though someone's perspective will change. I'll miss that. Life is too short to get all bent over some dude's rant. We all need an outlet to vent frustrations occasionally, some more than others.

I put El Cap on ignore for a day or so after fencing with him in a political thread, something I rarely participate in.

I always regret an online argument with a total stranger so
soon thereafter I undid that and responded in a helpful manner in some of his threads. The old olive branch.

Every forum has its colorful characters and you can only call someone a troll if you’ve been trolled.

Well thank you. I sold it in March regretting it now but I didn’t want to bring it w me from Chicago to Florida in salt. Sold it in 2 days to a very nice young father who wanted to teach his kid to wakeboard. I’m glad it went to a nice person.

 

I have never ignored anyone on any forum. If I don't like what they say I skip it or post my opinion.
