For what it worth when we got our 290 the bow pad was not there and after looking all over for one we decided on one of these

We have two of these from West Marine, presently on sale for $60. Very light weight. Like the larger lounger they only fold closed to about 30 degrees, so we keep ours open and flat, easier to stow that way. Granted they're only for the back and legs above the knees but they work great even when laying down on them. My wife loves sitting or laying on the bow at 6-8 mph!

Aside, I see the lounger pictured earlier is $50 cheaper than WM sells it. If they still have price match no problem.

Where did you see the loungers on sale? Do you have a link? I believe WM did some messing around with their price matching .we have two of the "chairs" pictured above but wanna try the lounger. I guess I could stow them inside the dink like John stated .

That was west marine guys....it was at the Miami Boat Show...One reason I love a horizontal stored davit type systems for my tender is "the garage storage" while underway.......
