Get the Crusader 8.1 wires - they fit perfect. Merc is way too proud based on their pricing.

Yes, crusader or Volvo penta fit fine and are usually 1/3 the price.

Just ordered two sets set of genuine Volvo wires p/n 3861295 for under $70 a set.

I figured after getting the new cool fuel upgrade with new injectors I would start fresh with new Iridium plugs (went with the NGK this time) and new wires. When I saw the Merc prices on the wires I almost fainted…

What's so special about these spark plug wires why can't you buy a set from jegs or something and make them yourself for 60 $70

 

That's not very cost effective.

 

I guess you're right as long as the ones from the Volvo will work
