I have a raymarine E120 on my 2008 44 dancer. When starting my starboard engine, the electronics must encounter a voltage drop causing the E120 to reboot, which can take some time. I'm curious if anyone has experienced this and knows of a fix? Voltage regulator? Independent electronics battery?

This is quite common with diesel engines. Their current draw is quite large at startup. Outside of using a separate power source (battery), it's easier to turn on the electronics after the engines are started. Also the newer chart plotters startup a lot quicker.
It happened to my gas Sundancer too. New batteries didn't fix it. Eventually I got used to waiting until both engines were running before booting up the MFD. Is yours wired to turn on when the battery switches are on? Or do you have to power it up manually?
