Radio trouble

Hi,
I probably should have posted this here in the first place....
I just purchased a 07 240 sundancer. I noticed that I can not get any reception with the radio? How do i check to see if the antenna came loose? Also, I plugged in my ipod and there is no voice, just the music. I tried messing with the aux settings(low-mid-high) and nothing made it better. I'm not sure if things came loose during the transportation. Its a clarion CMD4 with the remote, and aux input.

You need to install a real antenna...

Hey Bill,

I tried to pull the radio out but I think it is strapped in. I guess my only option is to access the radio from the top but there is a shelf there... that i will have to remove somehow

Dan,

On my 40DB I replaced the CMD1 with the CMD5. The CMD1 had intermittent problems. Anyway, I had lousy reception with the 1 and now also with the 5. I climbed up to look at the antenna. It has seen better days. I am about to replace it.

BTW,Clarion has online product manuals.

My antenna plugs into the back on the right hand side when you are facing it from the front.
