Great idea on the rear zip out! I will be adding that to the list also!
I had this done over the winter as well, with the window dimensions increased in both directions at the same time. I will snap a pic when I am at the boat next. We also had a front center panel made that is identical to the eisenglass, but with screen only (I wanted a zip-out but thought the additional border width would be distracting).

Unfortunately, I don't recall who makes the gauges...Faria?
Not sure if this is relevant or not, but I replaced the Speedo on my 2004 with a MercMonitor, so the factory gauge is on my desk (home office). The label on the back says:

Siemens VDO Trading AG, Switzerland
Sea Ray No. 1738325
VDO Nr. N 01 115 141

Date: 48/03

That's a trip I kight be able to make but still have the issue of a 2 year old. She has never been away from us and I'm still deating if I want to make the trip with her. She loves the boat and has been on one since she was 5 weeks old but I keep thinking "what if soemthing happens"?. Did you ever call Mike with the colling unit for the Norcold fridge? I used mine again last Saturday and it's really working well.
My fridge has been working perfectly and I kinda forgot about it with as much as I have going on. It's a short trip and you should consider doing it without her! Are her grand parents able and willing to take care of her? You probably could use a break! It's healthy for both of ya!!

I have a question regarding the sliding cabin door. Ours tends to bind or stick and I am thinking of lubricating it. I don't know if the top or bottom track is the bigger culprit. If you get the angle of force just right it moves smoothly, but other times if can be a wrestling match.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks!

With all that window space, I will have to make a privacy curtain for the night to keep the curious eyes out at the slip!!

I will have to add the snaps on the arch to keep it while under way as well!

A lot of times it is just dirt and debris build up on the rollers and track. One fix is to flush the bottom rollers and track with a water hose. Use a pressure nozzle and give it a good flushing from both ends and along the length (open the bottom access door under the helm) I usually do this twice a year and it takes care of the exact same problem you're having.

I just did the snaps on my arch last week. It should have came from the factory that way.
I am down at the boat all prepared to install a couple snaps and I can't believe my eyes!!! It already has the snaps... Dohhh!! It also has straps on the front side ones so you can roll them up and leave them!! I can't believe I didn't figure out what those snaps were for...lol

When we bought our boat, the slide was pretty gummed up and dirty. Door was hard to open. I spent awhile cleaning it real good and then applied some silicon spray with teflon. Worked great, door slide open easily! It's getting a bit harder now...time to clean again.

Yep, this is what you want to do -- clean the tracks and apply a teflon spray. It's best to take good care of it because the nylon trucks that slide in the tracks are no longer available. I had two trucks break in the upper track and got them replaced under warranty -- thankfully. I'm hosed if they break again.

Can you snap a picture or two? I'm trying to visualize where the snaps are.

The problem is that I don't talk to my parents and wife's mom is 75 (although in good shape). She is our babysitter but having her watch a two yeard old for numerous days might be a bit too much.

Just launched my 280. Still Ned some tweaking on the bow roller height. Noticed now when I turn on the stereo from the helm, the nav lights come on and the anchor windlass is very erratic. Do I need to replace the switch console pad?
Mike
Based on your symptons, that sounds like a good possibility. Bad news is Sea Ray supposedly discontinued them. Good news is you can get them from the OEM if you determine that is the problem.

Is anything else on that Control Pad acting weird?

Jason, thanks. Yes, the fresh water led has ben out since we got the boat 2years ago. I have not really the boat yet other than from the the ramp to the slip. I just know that when i tried lowering the anchor to take it off the trailer, I had to use the foot switches as the helm was very intermittent. I turned the stereo on and went in the cabin. When I came out, it was dark and I noticed the dash lights were on. I turned the stereo off, and everything went out. I do know he cockpit and arch seemed to work ok. I ended up having to leave the stereo on so the nav land dash list would go off.

Did you get the front panels from GL? Mine did not have the starps to roll them up like that nor did mine come with the snaps under the arch. Summertime I rarely use the enclosure beacuse it's so darn hot and now that I have the cockpit cover I use that when it's on the lift. Your set up looks good though. It's nice to see the same year boat and the differences between them.

This is how it was set up when I got her. I have her in a covered slip in Sanford and the blind mosquitos and spiders are terrible so I keep the camper top up. We take it down during the day but put it up when on the hook to keep the bugs out. Now I figured out the snaps and the straps, I can leave the panels attached and not try to store them!

@Florida, Can we see some close ups of the straps? I would like to add those.

Thanks,
Mike
I will take some tonight or tomorrow and post them. They have these "posts" that are krimped to the canvas and the strap has the female part and snaps to the post. I have them on the front and front side curtains.
