This mayabe a dumb question, but after trailering the boat home and the tilt is all the way up, then I put it down for a fresh water rinse and scrub down. After that am I suppose to leave the tilt/outdrive all the way down or should I put it all the way back up in the trailering position or should the tilt be in the middle. Or does it even matter? :huh:

Others believe that keeping it in trailer (full up) position for an extended period will cause the bellows to take a "set". This could lead to a more rapid failure of the bellows.
I haven't been sold on that idea yet. However, no harm in leaving the drive down until ready to roll again.
