It's a different boat for a different use/way of boating. Nothing wrong with that. Some of them might look at your boat and think "What a waste - all that space and amenities that would never get used".

You maybe missing the possibility that the center console is their run-around-the-bay day boat and they have a larger mother-ship elsewhere?

Those are fishing boats. You have a cruiser. I don’t fish so I have no interest in standing while I drive the boat the whole time.

Well, as someone who recently moved from a 420DA to a 25' CC I can say they're just different tools for different jobs. It all depends on how you want to use your boat.

My 420 was on a lake 75 miles from the house so it was a boat and a condo. It was awesome at doing that.

We don't need the accomodations anymore so the 25 CC is for running 35-40mph up and down the coast and stopping at islands and restaurants along the way. Love both boats for what they are.

BTW, the vast majority of CC have full heads under the console. Mine has a pump out holding tank like a cruiser. Also, you don't have to stand while driving but it's nice choice, especially if the going gets a bit rough.

 

I hate sitting to operate. Every single cruiser has the seat too close to the helm to be able to stand without knocking your heels

 

We don’t fish so no CC for us but love the outboard speed /shallow draft/ efficiency
I’m surrounded by them here in Fla I think they are the coolest looking boats just not for me.

 

Different strokes. If we lived in Florida, that's 100% what we would have, though most likely a hybrid CC with a cuddy up front. In the great lakes though I like a bit more windshield to hide behind, and a bigger cabin to get out of the varying conditions.

 

Dam! I wish I took a picture. One CC boat came in with wife and 3 kids. Orange 5 gallon bucket strapped to transom. Wife said “I guess that’s what she pees in”.
