I bought my 2006 52SB a year ago and surveyed it in Florida before bringing it to NY. Upon survey, props were found to be badly pitted. They were recond'ed and we went all last season fine and kept boat in the water all winter. Upon spring haul, we found the props completely shot and had to replace at almost $10K. Sea Ray has repeatedly advised against zincs on the shafts due to an internal "brush type grounding system". My mechanic cannot find evidence of such a system and the yard has advised zincs. I have placed them on and we have launched. Do I just need to worry about slippage?
